When you download, launch, or use the App, we may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, crash logs, and session duration. To recommend suitable routes and improve network performance, we may process approximate regional location information. This data is used for: 1. route recommendations based on Haitun VPN's node distribution; 2. performance optimization through anonymized aggregate diagnostics; 3. service communication such as important updates, security notices, or necessary account messages sent through your registered email or account.

We only transmit aggregated or anonymized data to necessary third-party service providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. Except in the following cases, we do not share your personal information with third parties: 1. compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, or valid legal process; 2. protection of users, the public, or platform security; 3. cooperation with entrusted service providers bound by confidentiality obligations to complete necessary services. To stop new data collection, you may uninstall the App through the standard process on your device.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable retention period afterward. The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from that group. If such data is mistakenly collected, we will delete it as soon as practicable. We use physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to reduce unauthorized access risks.
